A Registered Nurse makes a complete assessment of the homebound patient. Specializing in:

Rehabilitation Services

Our staff of expert Physical, Occupational and Speech therapists

works together to restore patients to a healthy physical state.

Physical Therapy

  • Ambulation techniques

  • Therapeutic exercises for range of motion and muscle strength

  • Use of crutches, canes or walkers

  • Fall prevention and Balance training

Occupational Therapy

Loss of function in arms, difficulty with dressing, bathing, toilet use, meal preparation and other functional activities as well as

adaptive equipment needs are all addressed by a registered occupational therapist. Our therapists help patients with cardiopulmonary, neurological and orthopedic conditions, as well

as those lacking endurance.

Occupational therapy is meant to 

allow the patient to be as independent as possible in everyday

activities and:

  • Improve functional abilities

  • Fabricate and apply splints

  • Assist in selection and use of adaptive equipment

  • Teach Self Care techniques

 
Speech Therapy

Neurological, orthopedic, and traumatic conditions that affect the ability to speak, swallow, problem solve, word

find and other related communication difficulties are addressed by a licensed speech pathologist. This specialized therapist assists the patient in achieving his or her maximum potential relating to communication and oral-motor skills.

  • Evaluate and treat language deficits

  • Evaluate and treat motor speech deficits

  • Evaluate and treat voice disorders

  • Educate patients and families regarding communication strategies related to specific diagnosis
